Tunnels Beaches Wedding Photographer & Videographer | Amanda & Andy | Rainy Wedding

Amanda & Andy’s wedding at Tunnels Beaches in North Devon

Amanda & Andy chose Tunnels Beaches for their North Devon wedding, a coastal venue built into the cliffs with a private beach and sea-facing ceremony terrace.

Their day was relaxed from the start. Guests arriving through the tunnels, drinks overlooking the sea, and a ceremony on the terrace with the coastline behind them.

The weather shifted throughout the day, but rather than changing plans around it, they embraced it and had the most romantic ceremony in the rain. If you’re planning your own wedding at Tunnels Beaches, and maybe have anxiety about the weather, this blog will show you that your wedding day will still be epic.

Amanda & Andy’s wedding Pre-Wedding Welcome Party

Tunnels Beaches provides the perfect space for hosting a little get-together the day before (or after) your wedding day. Amanda & Andy’s wedding day at Tunnels Beaches

Amanda spent the morning getting ready in the Bathhouse at Tunnels Beaches with her bridesmaids, mum, Andy’s mum, and the flower girls all moving around the space together while final bits came together around them.

Andy got ready nearby with his side of the wedding party and shared a super emotional first look with his mum before heading down to the ceremony area.

Then, almost on cue, the rain started just as the ceremony began.

Guests opened umbrellas, everyone squeezed in a little closer, and honestly it made the whole thing feel even more romantic against the sea backdrop at Tunnels Beaches.

After the ceremony, Daniel Costin took over the drinks reception with sax throughout the terrace while everyone moved between the venue and beach below. We headed down for fun wedding party photos on the beach before everyone gathered back upstairs for the evening.

Amanda & Andy’s entrance into dinner completely shifted the energy of the day. Big reactions, loads of cheering, and the start of a really fun evening.

Speeches followed afterwards and brought things back down again in the best way. Lots of emotion, stories from both sides, and a room that was completely locked in.

As the sun dropped later in the evening, Amanda & Andy had their first dance outside overlooking the sea before Daniel Costin led everyone back upstairs into the party.

And now a guest review from Andy’s brother (yep!)

Both Amy and Nick made brothers wedding so special ! They were both so lovely and put everyone at ease in front of the camera! They gave great direction with kindness and thoughtfulness for everyone involved and got the right balance between keeping it choreographed and organic perfectly! I would highly recommend Sunday Love to anyone needing lovely people with tremendous talents to capture their big day!
