Ktima Wedding Photographer & Videographer | Rosie & James’s Wedding in Lindos, Greece

Ktima: The Most Iconic Wedding Venue in Lindos, Rhodes

As a Ktima wedding photographer and videographer in Rhodes, Greece, Rosie and James’ wedding was everything couples dream of when they plan a destination celebration. We were even lucky enough to feature a photo from this wedding in British Vogue’s 2026 The Bridal Edit advertorial.

Set in the warm Greek sunshine and overlooking the Aegean Sea, Rosie & James’ wedding unfolded across multiple days and featured poolside drinks, sunset dinners on terraces above Lindos, black tie elegance, and a dance floor that turned into something unforgettable.

This wasn’t just a wedding day.

It was a full experience, built around connection, celebration, and being completely present in one of the most beautiful places in Europe.

About Ktima Wedding Venue in Rhodes, Greece

Our Experience as Destination Wedding Photographers in Rhodes

For destination weddings like Rosie and James’, experience matters in ways couples don’t always realise, from working around harsh midday sun, to keeping timelines relaxed in the heat, to blending naturally into multi-day celebrations. Greece gave us some of the most beautiful light to work with, and Ktima was the perfect setting for it all. We were there for their pre-wedding pool party, welcome dinner, and wedding day, so by the time the ceremony arrived, we weren’t just the photo and video team, we felt part of it. And that’s what allows us to capture the real, unscripted moments Sunday Love is known for.

Pre-Wedding Pool Party and Welcome Dinner in Lindos

Their wedding didn’t start at the aisle.

It started days before.

That’s the beauty of a destination wedding. It feels less like a single event and more like a shared holiday with all your favourite people.

A pool party in the sunshine, drinks flowing, music playing, everyone settling into that relaxed, just-arrived energy.

Then came a welcome dinner on a terrace overlooking Lindos, with views across the rooftops as the sun began to dip. Champagne flowed, plates of incredible food kept arriving, and Rosie gave a gorgeous welcome speech that set the tone perfectly for everything to come.

It’s such a good reminder that destination weddings aren’t just about the wedding day itself. Moments like this give everyone a chance to properly meet, relax, and settle in before the big day.

The Wedding Day Morning in Ktima’s Brand-new Suites

The accommodation at Ktima is as stunning as the rest of the venue. These brand-new rooms are light, spacious and provide the perfect space to get ready in the morning (and to relax by the pool the morning after!).

The morning of the wedding had that perfect mix of calm and excitement. Happy tears with the girls while everyone got ready and that lovely buzzing feeling of realising it was finally here.

The drinks were flowing and the whole room had turned into a full prosecco-fuelled sing-along to Natasha Bedingfield.

Once Rosie was ready, it was time for her first look with her bridesmaids…

Rosie’s first look with her girls was the sweetest moment. One of those parts of the day where we quietly step back and let it all happen.

The instant reactions, happy tears, big hugs, laughter and that gorgeous mix of excitement.

These are the moments people end up loving most because they’re pure, unfiltered, and completely real.

Rosie & James’ Ktima Wedding Ceremony Overlooking the Mediterranean Sea

Their ceremony was led by Rosie’s brother, which made the whole thing feel even more personal and full of heart. Then came their vows – honest, funny, emotional, and so them. The kind of words that have everyone laughing one minute and wiping away tears the next.

Honestly, it was such a special ceremony to witness and an absolute joy to capture!

Champagne Flowing, an ABBA Flash-Mob, and Full Party Energy

After the ceremony, everything shifted into celebration mode.

Champagne tower flowing, guests fully relaxed, the atmosphere was building…

…Oh, and did we mention Rosie’s crew surprising her with an ABBA flash-mob? Rosie was caught entirely off-guard for this moment!

And then the dance floor opened and the party really began.

Tips for Couples making the most out of your Wedding in Rhodes, Greece.

From our experience shooting destination weddings here:

  • Plan for multi-day events if you can, such as a welcome dinner, cocktail party, beach day or pool party. This will break the ice between your guests and creates an opportunity to get some speeches and photos ticked off – leaving more time to mingle and soak it all in on your wedding day.
  • Heat and atmosphere matter. The best time for your ceremony will be in the late afternoon when it gets cooler – consider a first look with your loved one and getting pics BEFORE your ceremony. This may seem wild to our British couples, but trust us – it works!
  • Choose suppliers you genuinely connect with. We cannot say this loud enough! You will spend lots of time with your hair + makeup team and a huge amount of team with your photographer and videographer – make sure you research and choose people that you vibe with.

Why choosing the right Photographer & Videographer Matters for your Ktima wedding:

A wedding at Ktima isn’t just about the ceremony.

It’s about living the Greek experience across multiple days.

The atmosphere, the people, the moments in between.

That’s why we take a documentary, experience-led approach with gentle direction.

We won’t turn your wedding into a photoshoot.

We’ll help create space for real moments to happen, then capture them as they unfold.

So when you look back, you don’t just see it. You feel like you’re right back there.
